Meatballs with Tomato Gravy

This recipe features

INGREDIENTS – 10 COVERS

1000g Beef mince

1 Egg – large

90g Gluten-free breadcrumbs

2g Garlic powder

2g Onion powder

6g Major Beef Stock Powder

100g Onions – finely diced

10g Garlic – finely diced

80g Major Vitamin D Meaty Gravy Powder

1000g Water

400g Tinned tomatoes – blitzed

Parsley – chopped, as required

Parmesan – grated, as required

METHOD

  1. Combine the mince, egg, breadcrumbs, onion and garlic powders and beef stock powder, mix well and chill then mould into meatballs of the desired size.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and sweat. Once translucent, add the garlic, add the water and simmer for 10 minutes, use Vitamin D Gravy Powder to thicken

  3. Roast the meatballs on a greaseproof tray at 180℃ for 15 minutes.

  4. Serve the meatballs in the sauce with parmesan and parsley.

ALLERGENS: Milk, eggs

VARIATIONS:

Use lamb, chicken or turkey mince if desired or substitute with a vegan meatball.
